How to use Clean Studio

  1. Open a photo. Upload, drop, paste, or capture an image.
  2. Choose your workflow. Erase brush makes pixels transparent immediately. Mark for repair makes red marks, then Repair marked area reconstructs background. Color wand makes a blue preview, then Erase blue selection creates transparency.
  3. Object repair: Use Mark for repair, Lasso or Rectangle to outline unwanted details in red. Press Repair marked area to fill over them. This does not erase to transparency.
  4. Color wand (W): Tap a background point, adjust tolerance, inspect the blue connected-selection preview, then tap Erase blue selection. Tap another point to add an enclosed area such as a second lens.
  5. Background erasing: Use Manual, Magic, or Auto / Color mode. These modes stay within the circular brush diameter. For difficult backgrounds, sample a clean background color or use Erase simple background for simple scenes.
  6. Protect a subject. Paint with Protect (P) over frames, eyes, thin outlines or other important details before a risky operation.
  7. Export. Save as PNG or WebP to preserve transparency, or JPEG for a flat background.

Honest limitation: This is classical pixel-based repair and background removal, not generative AI. The automatic background remover works best on simple or moderately clean backgrounds. Use PNG or WebP export to preserve transparency.
